Jason Ehlen, a native of the Jersey shore, moved to Miami Beach in 1999. He moves around a lot (Arizona, China, Colombia, etc.) but always comes back to Miami. He says he would write more if he didn’t spend so much time playing poker. Pops is his fourth published work and is part of an intertwined collection that he is trying to turn into a coherent book. Set on Miami Beach, the story is about a son’s attempt to convince his homeless father to stop sleeping in Flamingo park and start sleeping indoors again.
