Christina MacRae moved to Florida from Manhattan with her husband and 7-year-old daughter in 2003.  Her first new friends in Miami were lively, smart, beautiful mothers who each happened to be in the process of divorcing men who were having affairs. Years later, prompted by a questionnaire and an office so stylishly decorated it needed to be in a short story, Christina wrote out her admiration for those women for what they must have coped with in We Could Start With the Contradictions. Christina has been writing fiction for over 20 years. She currently lives in Princeton, New Jersey.
